Problems with electronics in E-flite, SU-26m. RC airplane?
Hi, I was flying my Sukhoi, yesterday and after flying for a few seconds the motor quit and I lost all control fortunately by some miracle it was only about 25 feet up and it corrected itself at least for the most part just weakening the landing gear. After the semi-crash landing, I regained full control which was confirmed by the beep but when I range tested it from about 80 feet it kept cutting out and the control was choppy. Before I even took the Sukhoi, out to fly it worked fine all the previous times I flew it, however, I did mess with the servo connections but put them all back tightly. Thanks for reading and please tell me your ideas.
Electronics I have in my Sukhoi:
E-flite Park 480 1020 Kv,
Helimax 25 A ESC,
Thunder Power 11.1 v 2100mah battery,
Hightec Hs-55 servos,
AR6000 Spektrum Receiver,
Jr servo extensions.
Very interesting...
Only a few thoughts come to mind when that happens...
1. Replace the batteries for the radio. (Unlikely to be the problem, but it could)
2. Rebind the receiver with the radio.
3. The receiver may be failing and needs to be replaced.
I doubt the servos will be a problem because you do not have control of the plane. Usually that points to the problem in the receiver. However, if you had motor power and no servo response, then that would be a servo problem.
