Getting an rc airplane?

I'm looking to get this RC Plane-

What I need to know is that it says "Engine Required : 2C 0.4 cu in
Radio Required : 4 channels,4 servos"

How and where do I get these? What else do I need to get started. Thanks.

Your best bet is to go to a local hobby store specializing in RC. Most HobbyTown USA franchises have some RC specialists on staff, or can connect you with the folks who can help.

The radio is what controls the plane in flight. "Servos" are small electric motors which control the engine throttle and control surfaces (ailerons, rudder and elevators). They are connected to the plane's radio receiver.

It's one thing to buy an airplane kit online, but it's not a good idea to buy the other things you need from a distant store. If you have never flown an RC plane, you'll need to get lessons. It's not as easy as the RC guys make it look, and even the most experienced fliers have crashes. I suggest you look for a local RC flying club, where there will be folks who can help. Some clubs even have websites.

You might want to consider investing first in a "trainer," which is an RC plane specially built to withstand crashes. You don't want to spend all that time building an expensive kit and then crash it on your first flight.
